Active ingredient
Each capsule contains estramustine sodium phosphate monohydrate equivalent to 140 mg estramustine phosphate.

ESTRACYT contains estramustine sodium phosphate monohydrate equivalent to 140 mg estramustine phosphate in each capsule as an active ingredient.
ESTRACYT belongs to a group of medicines called other antineoplastic agents.
ESTRACYT are opaque white capsules with “ESTRACYT” imprinted radially on the capsule cover and “K Ph 750” with black ink on the body. It is available in bottles containing 100 capsules each.
Your doctor will tell you how long your treatment will take with ESTRACYT and how many capsules you should take in what dosage. Always follow your doctor's advice exactly.
Generally, treatment starts with 4-6 capsules per day. Dosage range is 7-14 mg / kg per day (4-8 capsules) to be administered in 2 (or 3) doses.
Application route and method
Take ESTRACYT on an empty stomach. The capsules can be taken at least one hour before or two hours after a meal.
Swallow the ESTRACYT whole with a sufficient amount of water (for example with a glass of water). Do not open capsules. Do not take the capsules with milk or other beverages containing milk (such as coffee).
Your doctor will tell you how long your treatment will take with ESTRACYT. Do not interrupt your treatment, even if you feel that you are improving.

The efficacy and safety of ESTRACYT in children has not been demonstrated.
Use in the elderly
It has no special use.
Special use cases: Renal failure:
If you have kidney failure, your doctor may change the dose of ESTRACYT.
Liver failure:
Do not use ESTRACYT if you have severe liver disease.
If you have liver failure, your doctor may change the dose of ESTRACYT.
If you have an impression that the effect of ESTRACYT is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Like all medicines, ESTRACYT may have side effects in people who are sensitive to the substances contained in its content.
If any of the following occur, stop using ESTRACYT and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the nearest emergency department:
Sudden hypersensitivity reactions (such as swelling of the mouth, face, lips or tongue, shortness of breath, rash, itching, especially in the whole body)
Swelling, discomfort, or discoloration in your leg or legs
Chest pain, breathlessness
These are all very serious side effects. If you have one of these, you have a serious allergy to ESTRACYT. You may need urgent medical attention or hospitalization.

Side effects are classified as shown in the following categories:
Very common: It can be seen in at least one of 10 patients.
Common: Less than one in 10 patients, but more than one in 100 patients
visible.
Uncommon: less than one in 100 patients, but more than one in 1,000 patients. Rare: may be seen less than one in 1,000 patients.
Very rare: may be seen less than one in 10,000 patients.
Unknown: It cannot be estimated from the available data.
Very common:
Nausea (feeling sick), vomiting (being sick) (especially in the first two weeks of treatment)
Diarrhea
Abnormal liver function
Anemia (anemia)
Decrease in white blood cells
Enlargement of breast tissue in men
Fluid accumulation in the body, edema (swelling in the feet and ankles)
Common:
A decrease in the number of platelets that allow your blood to clot
Headache
Tiredness
Heart attack
Blood clot formation in your blood vessels Not known:
Decline in sexual function
Clot formation at the application site
Muscle weakness
Mental breakdown (depression), confusion
Skin rash that is itchy or burning
2.Things to watch out for before using ESTRACYT
DO NOT USE ESTRACYT in the following situations
If:
If you are allergic to estradiol, nitrogen mustard (a kind of cytotoxic drug) or any of the excipients in the composition of ESTRACYT (see excipients list),
If there is a wound (ulcer) in our stomach or intestine
If you have severe heart disease
If you have severe liver disease
If you have a condition that causes your blood to clot
If you are suffering from a fluid retention problem.
Do not use ESTRACYT.
ESTRACYT should not be used in children.
Since ESTRACYT is used in the treatment of prostate cancer, it is not used in women.
